STCW Basic Safety Training
The standard safety course required to work on most commercial yachts.
ENG1 or equivalent seafarer medical
A valid medical certificate proving you are fit for work at sea.
Good spoken English
Many yachts operate in English, so you must be able to understand instructions and communicate with guests and crew.
Professional presentation
Yachts are high-standard environments, and how you present yourself matters.
