These Terms apply to all use of this website and all services purchased through it or via Calendly at the direction of this website.
By completing a booking or purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use this website or purchase any service.

The Service
NautiRoute offers personalised 1:1 career strategy sessions for individuals seeking to enter or progress within the maritime and superyacht industry. The service consists of:
- A 45-minute video call conducted via a mutually agreed video platform
- A pre-session questionnaire to gather relevant background information from the client
- Verbal career guidance personalised to the client's situation, based on information they have provided
The session provides informational and educational guidance only. It does not constitute professional advice, legal advice, financial advice, recruitment services, or any guarantee of employment or specific outcomes.
Results depend entirely on the client's personal circumstances, effort, qualifications, the accuracy of information provided to NautiRoute, and the state of the maritime job market at the time.
Booking Process
Sessions are booked via the Calendly scheduling platform. A booking is confirmed once:
- A time slot has been selected and confirmed via Calendly
- Payment has been successfully processed in full
- A confirmation email has been sent to the address provided by the client
It is the client's sole responsibility to provide accurate contact details. NautiRoute is not liable for missed confirmations due to incorrect email addresses or spam filters.
Pricing
All prices are displayed in Euros (€) inclusive of any applicable taxes. The current price for a 1:1 Career Strategy Session is 89.99 € per session.
NautiRoute reserves the right to change pricing at any time. The price displayed at the time of booking applies to that specific booking and will not be retroactively altered.
Payment
Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers. NautiRoute does not store, access or process your payment card details directly.
Full payment is required to confirm a booking. No session will take place without completed payment. In the event of payment failure, the time slot is not reserved.
Rescheduling & Cancellation
By the client
| Action | Notice period | Outcome |
|---|---|---|
| Rescheduling | More than 24 hours before session | Free of charge, new slot selected via Calendly |

By NautiRoute
In the unlikely event that NautiRoute must cancel or reschedule a session, the client will be notified as soon as reasonably possible and offered either a new time slot at no charge or a full refund at their choice.
Refund Policy
Refunds are issued in the following circumstances only:
- The session is cancelled by the client with more than 24 hours' notice
- The session is cancelled by NautiRoute and the client does not reschedule
- A technical failure caused entirely and demonstrably by NautiRoute prevents the session from taking place
Refunds are not issued for:
- Subjective dissatisfaction with the advice provided — guidance is personalised and based on information given by the client
- Client no-shows or late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice)
- Technical issues on the client's side (internet connectivity, device failures, etc.)
- Decisions made by the client based on the guidance received
Refund requests must be submitted to info@nautiroute.com within 7 calendar days of the scheduled session date.
Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal from service contracts.
Important: If the session has not yet taken place, you retain the right to withdraw within 14 days of booking confirmation by contacting info@nautiroute.com before the session date.
However, by completing a booking and attending the session, you expressly request that the service commences before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledge that:
- You consent to the immediate provision of the service
- Your right of withdrawal is waived upon the session taking place
- No refund will be issued after the session has been delivered
This is consistent with Article 103(m) of the Spanish General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users (LGDCU) and Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU.
Nature of the Advice
The guidance provided during sessions is:
- Informational and educational in nature
- Based on the advisor's personal experience in the maritime and superyacht industry
- Personalised to information provided by the client during booking and the session itself
- Subject to the advisor's reasonable professional judgement at the time
The guidance is explicitly not:
- A guarantee of employment, specific salary, or any particular career outcome
- Legal, financial or regulated professional advice
- A commitment to place, refer or recommend the client to any specific employer
- A replacement for official maritime authority guidance on licensing or certification
NautiRoute does not act as a recruitment agency and makes no placement guarantees. The maritime labour market is subject to conditions entirely beyond our control.
